Master of Science in Aeronautics & Astronautics What's New
The University of Washington online Master of Science in Aeronautics & Astronautics (MSAA) is designed for graduate students and engineering professionals who are interested in earning an advanced degree in a dynamic field.

Offered by the Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics, this multidisciplinary program utilizes the latest online and video technologies and is taught by expert UW faculty, so you'll enjoy the same quality education as students on campus. You also have the flexibility of enrolling on a full- or part-time basis to fit your professional schedule.

IMPORTANT NOTICE


The Aeronautics & Astronautics Department is restructuring the Master of Aerospace Engineering (MAE) degree program(s) to better serve the professional aerospace community.


Starting in Autumn 2013, the department plans to offer one professionally oriented MAE degree program geared toward working professionals and offering concentrations in:
  • Controls
  • Fluids
  • Power/Plasma/Propulsion
  • Structures/Composites (previously available as the MAE-CMS degree)
The updated MAE curriculum will be structured to be completed part-time in three academic years. Courses will be offered in the evening. Details regarding specific degree requirements for the updated MAE will be posted online as they become available.

GRE scores will no longer be required for admission to the MAE. The deadline for applications to the MAE program (for Autumn 2013) will be April 1st 2013.
